Accredited Nursing Care, one of Southern California’s largest home care agencies – with more than 30 years’ experience – has teamed up with Philips Lifeline Medical Alert Service to offer affordable home care and client supervision 24 hours a day!
What is LIFELINE?
Lifeline is the #1 Medical Alert, Personal Emergency Response System.
How does LIFELINE work?
Lifeline is worn as a pendant or wristband. When help is needed, the wearer presses the Personal Help button, and in seconds a certified Lifeline monitor responds, assesses the situation and summons appropriate help, whether it is a neighbor, relative or ambulance. Lifeline is waterproof and can easily be worn in the shower or bath.
Why do I need LIFELINE?
Life is unpredictable. An unexpected fall or medical emergency could threaten your health if help is delayed. For home care clients, Lifeline is an emergency alert system, but it is NOT just for medical emergencies. The service also allows you to:
- Answer the telephone without having to rush to grab a handset and risk falling
- Maintain peace of mind knowing that help is just a press-of-a-button away
Lifeline provides 24/7medical emergency assistance without the financial burden of hiring 24-hour in-home care.
How much does the Lifeline service cost?
For a little more than a dollar a day, Accredited Nursing’s home care clients can get the Lifeline Personal Response Service. You are not required to buy equipment or make a long-term commitment.
Fall risk is common among seniors and a major concern for their safety. Accredited Nursing has partnered with Lifeline to address this concern for our in-home care clients and to supplement our home care services. Please read the informative booklet about ‘Lifeline Connections’.
